Barton Hills Neighborhood Association Executive Committee Meeting Minutes June 3, 2002
Attendees	Officers present were Robin McKeever, Rafael Quintanilla, and Sharon Slagle.
General Meeting Agenda	The agenda for the June general meeting will include a report on planning for the 4th of July Parade by Jennifer Stuart; a few words from new city council member Betty Dunkerley; a short presentation on Dillo Dirt from Jody Slagle of the Hornsby Bend Biosolids Treatment Facility; project reports on the Terrace (Mark Gentle), plans for the Greenbelt Cleanup (Glee Ingram), and Brodie Tract (Robin); a possible speaker on the Town Lake Park, a few announcements and volunteer requests, and an open-mike on neighborhood traffic calming plans and on greenbelt crime. Robin and Rafael will meet with Carl Newsome to discuss BHNA participation in school landscaping, which will be added to a future agenda.
Newsletter Assignments	Although she has now moved back to Dallas, Noel will produce this newsletter. Article assignments are as follows: Parade plans, election results, Terrace news, Neighborhood Spotlight, bandit signs and National Night Out – Robin School news – Kati Achtermann Greenbelt Cleanup planning – Glee Ingram Dillo Dirt story – Scott Johnson Capital Metro plans – Brad Ellers Officer Jones Memorial, burglary prevention, neighborhood home sales – Sharon Web site updates in the past quarter – Glenn Chase Articles are due to Noel by Sunday evening, June 9th. The newsletter goes to the printer on the 11th and will be ready on the 13th. Robin will arrange for Boy Scouts to deliver it.
